What follows is just a sampling of what the gym looks like. If you are more of a ‘video learner,’ there’s a virtual tour video you can watch here: Virtual Tour Video
Above is a view of our ‘front room.’ This is where a lot of our CrossFit and Fundamentals classes take place. It’s a mostly open room, with squat/pull up racks against the outer walls, and a big open space in the middle. There are rings hung around the room, and bars, bumpers, and kettlebells close at hand.
This is another view of the front: this is typically where our “WOD” gets posted, as well as where our athletes record their times.
This is a longer view of the ‘back room.’ This is typically where our ‘Barbell’ classes take place. There are 5, 8’x12′ platforms, about 1,000# of bumpers, 1,000# of iron plates, and about 500# of IWF competition kilo plates. You can see we have a squat stand at every platform, as well as some additional power racks.
We feature a lot of Rogue products throughout the facility, including about a half dozen pairs of wooden rings. Most of our barbells are Rogue Bella and Burner bars, and we have plenty of them.
We have 8 platforms for loading stones, ranging in height from 40″ to 60″. Our Strongma’ams make frequent use of a wide variety of Strongman specific training tools, such as kegs ranging from 75# to 280#, stones from 40# to 307#, 4 logs varying in size and weight from 8″ and 55#, to 12″ and 105#, tires ranging from 250# to 650#, and more, like truck harnesses, various sleds, and sandbags.
Mmmmmmmm. Smell that not-so-fresh pine scent.
Wanna get strong? We’re gonna need some weight! You can expect to see a few of these around the gym. Your next pair of plates is never far away!
